I don’t remember my password.

Select forgot password on the Login page and enter the email address that you used to create your account. You will receive an email with a temporary password and be prompted to update upon login.

If you have not yet created an account please do so by clicking Create Account on the login page.

I have never been to Dreamforce and do not have an account. Do I need to register for the event first?

No, you do not need to be registered for the event. However, you do need to create a login in order to submit to the CFP. Please create an account using your email address in order to begin the CFP submission process.

What if I don’t know who my speakers will be yet?

That's ok. As submitter, you can return to add a Proposed Speaker before the Call for Participation closes.

If I am submitting on behalf of someone else, can I just use their email and name as the "Submitter"?

We highly recommend YOU start the process by logging in or creating an account. All communication will come to the submitter. By doing so, you automatically become the Submitter. Please select the option "I am submitting on behalf of a colleague, partner, or customer." If accepted, we will continue to communicate with you and your someone else.

Can I still make changes to speakers after Call for Participation closes?

If your session or story is selected, you will work with your content team to update the details of your submission, including adding or changing speakers.

How do I edit a previously submitted proposal?

Log into the Call for Presentations, on the Home Page under View and Edit Proposals, click on the title of the perviously submitted proposal you would like to edit. Update as needed and click Continue to save the changes.

I accidentally hit send and received a "Thank you for your submission" email. I was not ready, can you please delete it?

Unfortunately, our system will not allow deletions. However, you can fix this! Log into the Call for Presentations, on the Home Page under View and Edit Proposals, click on the title of the previously submitted proposal you would like to edit. Update as needed and click Continue to save the changes. You may continue to make updates until the CFP closes on July 8th.

How do I add/remove participants?

Log into the Call for Presentations, on the Home Page under View and Edit Proposals, find the submission you wish to add another speaker to, Click on a participant's name, Click + to add a speaker, enter the speaker info. Click Save. To remove a speaker click the X to the right of the row they are listed in and select Remove.

Do I need to submit all of my sessions through the CFP tool?

The CFP is the preferred tool for submitting your ideas for Dreamforce 2022. We highly suggest that all submissions go through the CFP so that all submissions can be viewed in on place.

How many proposals may I submit?

Please note there is a submission limit of 5 proposals. This allows you to truly hone your submission and consider your best proposals.

How will I be notified if I was selected or not?

You will receive an email from the Dreamforce team in August notifying you if your submission is accepted or not accepted.

I submitted a proposal but I did not receive a confirmation email, how do I know it went through?

Log back into the submission portal and scroll to the bottom of the page, under View and Edit Proposals, to see all of your submitted proposals. Please note, if your submission is in Partial status is has not been submitted. Any submissions in partial status at the time Call for Participation closes will not be considered.

What is the difference between a Story/Speaker and Session Proposal Nomination?

A speaker or story nomination is detailing a speaker and their expertise that might fit into a session led by Salesforce with a Salesforce narrative.  The speaker would participate in developing the deck and supporting the session goals with their experience and/or expertise.

A session proposal is an offer to present a full presentation at Dreamforce.  The submitter would be responsible for developing the title, abstract and presentation deck.  There is likely a Salesforce guide to share timelines, do rehearsals and generally keep things moving along.

What do you mean by Primary Audience?

This is who you envision as the core audience that will attend your session.

What makes a good proposal?

First, let’s start with the Title. It should be something that will be of interest to your primary audience, and you should word it in a way that makes it very clear to those attendees what you’ll be covering (in no more than 60 characters). Remember at Dreamforce the content options are many, so you’ll want your topic to be very clear.

The Description field is where you’ll write a short paragraph (in no more than 500 characters) to quickly tell us what you’re going to talk about. Be creative! Don’t just explain your slide deck, but share your ideas for interacting with the audience: What are you going to build/demo? What discussion will you lead? What will your audience be able to take home with them and show to their companies? Remember this will eventually be published on the website and will be the public-facing view of what your talk is about. It should be compelling and clearly communicate what attendees can expect to learn from your session.

Finally, Why should this presentation be included at Dreamforce? Now is your chance to sell your session directly to the content leader. Outside of the title & description this is your last chance to be compelling and make your submission stand out so you can get your message to the audience.

For the Session Proposal times (20 / 40 min) does that include Q&A time?

Yes, it’s recommended to leave 5-10 min for Q&A as part of your session time allocation - but it’s up to you how much time to leave.

When does the Call for Participation close?

Call for Participation will close end of day on July 8.

I received presentation slots as part of my Sponsorship package. Who should I reach out to if I have questions about these?

Please reach out to your GPJ partner relations manager. If you are unsure who that is, please email partnersucess@salesforce.com.
